About Darlene Harris
Darlene comes to Lighting Systems with over 25 years of experience in electrical distribution. For the past 7 years she has worked as manager of quotations and projects department for Graybar Electric. Darlene grew up in an Air Force family. She graduated high school in Bitburg Germany and is currently working on her bachelor's degree through University of Phoenix.
Family is what Darlene "lives and breaths for." She has two sons and one daughter. Her other passions are spending time at the beach, crafting, redecorating and organizing.

About Deanna Kaminski
Almost half of Deanna Kaminski's 15-year career in the lighting industry have been dedicated to Lighting Systems. Staring out as a Quotation Specialist, Deanna is now an integral part of our Project Management team.
We are "Lucky" to have her trendy persona enlightening the office this past 7 years. She is always looking for something new and willing to explore and learn unfamiliar and different things; goat yoga, oatmeal lattes, and growing loofahs in her home garden - just to name a few. We look forward to having her as a part of the Lighting Systems family for multiple septets to come.
As a busy mom to two wonderful active boys, (Shane 6 and Dylan 2), Deanna and her husband Scott love to go camping, swimming and vacationing.
When she does finds the time, she has a passion for cooking, baking and tending to her impressive garden.

Jesse Gilbert
A recent graduate from University of Colorado, Jesse is the first of his family to graduate from college. His degree in communications will be put to good use as support to the Project Management Team in all aspects of order processing and customer service.
Jesse has a passion for photography and motor sports and combines the two as often as possible by shooting pics of his friends’ custom cars. When not working on his own car, he finds pleasure on the golf course with family and friends.

Kim Raffaini
We are happy to announce that Kim Raffaini (formerly Evans) has been promoted to Project Department Supervisor. In her new role, Kim will provide leadership to her amazing Quotations and Project Management Team to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. She will also assist our Specification Sales Team to ensure quotes are current and accurate.
Backing Kim’s promotion is her 22-year career in the electrical and lighting industries, 14 of which have been with Lighting Systems in quotations and project management. She spent the first 6 years of her career in project management designing medium voltage substations in Louisiana. After migrating to California in 2000, she worked in electrical distribution until coming to Lighting Systems.
Recently married to "an amazing man," Kim loves spending time with her 10 grandkids and impatiently awaits the arrival of #11.
She also loves camping, gardening, painting and chilling with her fur babies: Roux and Bonnie.

Kimberly Ford
Kimberly Ford was destined for a career with Lighting Systems. As a third-generation employee, she didn’t fall far from the industry tree. Her knowledge of lighting is deeply embedded thanks to her grandfather, Al Thompson, who was one of Lighting Systems original partners, followed by her father, now retired, former Principal, Dan Thompson.
After completing her degree in design and marketing from Sacramento State, Kimberly started her career at Lighting Systems in 2014 as a Customer Service Rep. She is now one of our many amazing Project Managers working diligently to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. She loves learning more about the industry with its constantly changing products, technologies, and methods, but most of all she adores her Bay Area clientele.
Kimberly and her husband Jeff are about to celebrate their 7th year of marriage. They recently expanded their family with the birth of Thomas in 2020.
When not working on renovating her recently purchased Roseville home, Kimberly enjoys getting out and kayaking with her family on Lake Tahoe or closer to home on Folsom Lake. In her quiet moments, she likes to bake and read.

About Keri Manyvahn
We are so excited that Keri Manyvanh chose to start the second chapter of her professional career as a Quotation Specialist for Lighting Systems. Her first 25 years in the lighting industry were spent working for Omega Pacific in Richmond, CA, where her duties included customer service and project management. Her acquired knowledge of the industry will be a huge asset to our top-notch Quotations Team.
Originally from Laos, Keri migrated to the United States with her parents and 4 siblings in 1979 to escape the communist regime. She planted roots in the East Bay where she worked and raised her own family, two daughters and a son.
Keri, now an empty nester, has discovered a passion for wine tasting and travel. In her quiet time, Keri enjoys watching her seedling flourish in her garden.

About Melanie Gador
Melanie has the proud distinction of being a part of the Lighting Systems family through three generations of our growth. Over the last 23 years she has worked with the original partners on Townsend Street, 2nd generation on Howard Street and now with the 3rd generation at the Roseville office. With 31 years of experience in the electrical industry Melanie is a wiz in the CSR/Project Manager and Quotations arena.
Melanie and her husband Michael have two children, two nephews and one niece whom have kept them very busy over the past 26 years of marriage. Melanie enjoys cooking, traveling, and DIY projects with the kids. Her life goal is to become a foster parent to children in need.

About Brett Dulong
Brett Dulong was promoted to Sales Manager for the Sacramento and Northern Nevada markets March 13th, 2023.
Born into lighting as the son of a lighting agent, Brett has spent his entire career in the industry which includes working in distribution, manufacturing, and, of course, his tenure here at Lighting Systems. Brett has been an integral part of the success of our Roseville location since he joined our family in 2009.
Brett is a Sac State graduate with a business degree in strategic management. His established roots in the Sacramento valley, knowledge of the markets and proven track record of success, acknowledges that he continues to drive our business forward. He has forged strong relationships with our employees and our manufacturing partners.
Brett is an avid sports fan on and off the field. He passionately roots on his Sacramento Kings, as well as the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Royals.
In his spare time, Brett enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling with his wife and two grown sons. When at home he keeps himself busy doing DIY projects.

About Dustin Reyff
Dustin has been in the electrical field for the past 15 years. After graduating from Oregon City High School, he moved to California to work for his family's electrical company where he was an electrician for 8 years in the field and running commercial and service work. Dustin then moved on to electrical distribution at Graybar for 7.5 years. He worked in customer service, project specialist, account rep and rounded out his career in outside sales.
Dustin's hobbies are golfing, bike riding with the family and taking his son swimming anywhere and everywhere. He also likes to travel to San Diego to visit his parents.

About Eric Leber
Eric comes to Lighting Systems with 10 years of working with major lighting manufacturers and 6 years working with electrical contractors on lighting projects. He was featured in the “Practical Wine and Vineyards” and “Wine Business Monthly” magazines for lighting retrofit solutions and was published nationally for his work with Kendall Jackson Family wines. Eric led a local ESCO branch in San Leandro that earned 6 PG&E awards and is passionate about using LED lighting design solutions for a more energy efficient future in California.
Eric loves to travel internationally and spend time with family. Hobbies include most outdoor activities, especially boating at Lake Berryessa in Napa. Eric and his wife Paula are excited for the post covid environment as they love to attend concerts and do an occasional stage dive. They have a 2-year-old daughter and spend most of their weekends at local parks in San Ramon.

About Leisa Jatczak
To say Leisa Jatczak knows the lighting industry is an understatement. When she joined our team in 2017, Leisa brought with her an impressive experience of over 40 years of working with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, city and county authorities, and developers. During that time, she managed her own agency. Her ability to communicate and build relationships with clients is remarkable, and her knowledge and insights have proved to be beneficial to our clients. Leisa is a valuable member of our amazing outside sales team.
Leisa's expertise extends beyond just the lighting industry - she also has a rooted knowledge of the Bay Area. Being a sixth-generation Californian, she was born and raised in Oakland, California. She has also raised her two children in the same area and is now enjoying her time spoiling her grandchildren.
Leisa has an immense passion for all things related to nature, including gardening, glamping, and off-road ATV. On top of that, she is a travel enthusiast with Europe being the next destination on her bucket list. Her motto, “Sun on my shoulders and toes in the sand.”

Rafael runs a tight regiment in our Nevada office, thanks to his military background. He is an Army, Gulf War veteran whom participated in Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Provide Comfort. In addition to his military service, Rafael brings 30+ years of experience in the lighting industry to Lighting Systems. He has worked for distributors, lighting manufacturer, electrical contractor and lighting agencies.
Rafael and his wife Jackie have four children living in all corners of the United States.
In his free time, Rafael enjoys golfing, fishing, scuba diving/spear fishing, hiking, target shooting, and, he recently took-up snow skiing.

Ron, originally from the Philippines, is a retired United States Air Force veteran with 20-years of service under his belt. During his military career he worked as an electronics technician on some high-profile, top-secret assignments involving the secrecy of the F-117A Stealth Fighter Program and participated in aircraft deployment providing air support during Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1991.
Now, Ron is already 7+ years into his second career in the lighting industry. Prior to Lighting Systems, Ron worked for Omega Pacific Lighting Supply in distribution, supporting the city and county of San Francisco.
A sports enthusiast and avid running, Ron and his girlfriend Faith participate in numerous racing events for both fun and good causes. When not stomping the pavement, he is cruising down it on his road bike.
Ron enjoys spending time with his two nieces, Gianna (9) and Penelope (5). He is a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys travel when his schedule permits.

Linda Carrillo
Linda Carrillo has been part of our amazing specification sales team since 2014. Her passion shows through in everything she does, and she does a lot!! Linda loves her clients, light and design. She takes pride in helping the Bay Area design community select the best products to make their designs not only well lit, but to create beautiful spaces that uplift and support the overall well-being of the occupants.
Linda’s passion for light and design doesn’t stop there. She is the director of Light! Design Expo, the only architectural lighting products show in Northern California, and quickly becoming one of the largest light shows in the country. She is also a very active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
Linda was born in Northern CA but grew up on Long Island, NY. After graduating from Dowling College with a degree in sales and marketing she moved back to California and hasn’t left since. She raised 4 amazing sons here and now lives on a 30-acre parcel in West Sonoma County.

About Thomas Burrell
Thomas comes to Lighting Systems with over 10 years experience in manufacturing, including over 5 years with local SF lighting manufacturers in both inside and outside sales. He grew up in Marin, graduating from Novato High before going on to study architecture in college. After a major change (pun intended!) to study forestry, Thomas became a park ranger working for the County of Marin for 14 years.
Thomas still enjoys the outdoors and spends free time hiking, biking and kayaking all over Marin. Additionally, he enjoys exploring the world with his wife Jennifer.

About Ron France
If one could say they are obsessed with lighting control it would be Ron France. His career in lighting has touched just about all facets of the industry: Manager, Engineer, Presenter, Designer, Troubleshooter, Integrator, T24 AT tester, just to name a few. His accolades include: Senior Electrical Engineer- design and specifications for commercial buildings (20 years); Lighting Designer – notably - Devos Children’s Hospital, Redbull Soccer Stadium, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine; Past VP for a Lighting Rep, Knowledge of AGI32, Autocad, A/V design and specifications, communications and networking infrastructure and certification; College Lecturer.
Ron enjoys working with "one of the best teams in the industry," as he leads the efforts of the Lighting Controls Department at Lighting Systems.
While Ron enjoys golf and bowling, he and his wife, Mary, enjoy home DIY projects including anything from landscaping to construction. They have five children. Ron says being a Grandfather surpasses anything one can imagine. Hearing "Papa Ron is amazing" is definitely something he loves!

About Alessia Pope
Alessia Pope is the perfect blend of Tech and Design. Celebrating her 4th year with Lighting Systems as one of our “amazing brains” on the Applications and Tech Support Team, Alessia is also considered our “taste-maker,” driving the look and feel of our marketing materials and website content.
A Santa Cruz native, Alessia graduated from UC Davis with a BFA in Design. Little did she know at that time she would end up marrying her college sweetheart, Tobias, years later in her hometown. After graduating she put her degree to work as an Architectural Lighting Designer, in both New York City and San Francisco.
In her role on the Lighting Systems Applications and Technical Support Team, Alessia now dedicates her time to supporting Lighting Systems’ sales team by providing customers with specification assistance, lighting calculations and technical support.
Alessia and her husband are avid climbers and cyclists. They recently built custom bikes for bikepacking and bike touring adventures. A lover of art and music, she also enjoys painting in her art studio as well as jamming on her guitar.

About Alissa Carlos-Doucette
Alissa’s love for lighting was spawned by her early studies in interior design. While a student, she worked in a small lighting showroom in Walnut Creek. After spending the next 25 years in the lighting industry, her passion for lighting and design has not waned. In 2005, Alissa became a Certified Lighting Consultant (CLC) professional with the American Lighting Association and has worked in all facets of lighting.
We were fortunate to add Alissa to the Lighting Systems team in 2017 as part of the Project Quotations team. Today, as the Technical Support Manager, Alissa works closely with the sales team to provide clients with specification assistance, quotations, technical support, and exceptional customer service.
A Bay area native, Alissa spent many a weekend with her brother and father in Golden Gate Park, visiting the Academy of Sciences, hanging out at the Marin Headlands, and watching sport bikes race at Sears Point.
In her free time, Alissa enjoys spending time with her dog, Cali, and family. Her hobbies include driving & modifying her Camaro, travel, music, and Dharma studies.

About Brian Franco
Brian Franco has worked in the lighting industry for over 16 years. In 2005, after graduating from Penn State with a degree in Architectural Engineering (lighting/ electrical option), he began his career as a lighting designer in San Francisco. In his role on the Applications and Technical Support Team, Brian now dedicates his time to supporting Lighting Systems’ sales team by providing customers with design and specification assistance, lighting calculations and technical support. Brian has his LEED AP BD+C credential and is also a Lighting Certified (LC) professional.
As a child Brian and his family moved around a lot, including stops in Budapest, Hungary and Rochester, NY but he has always called the greater Philadelphia area home and still makes frequent visits there to see family. Between his younger brother and sister, Brian now has an additional three nieces and a nephew to visit on his trips.
Brian was recently married on the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe to Brooke, his partner of 5-years. His passions are music, hiking, backpacking, camping, biking, and snowboarding.

About Michelle Darcey
Michelle brings to Lighting Systems an extensive background in leading account operations for companies of varying sizes in Northern California. After graduating from Chabot College in Hayward, CA, Michelle has spent her career focusing on all aspects of office management and internal operations. Utilizing analytics, she has identified and resolved inconsistencies and streamlined workflow processes for companies in the pharmaceutical, material handling, and optical industries.
Michelle enjoys tending to her vegetable garden and spending time with her husband Bob, her 5 rescue kitties, and Bella her rescue dog. She looks forward to Sunday dinners with her entire family as the highlight of her weekend.

Peter Antrim
The third time is the charm. Peter Antrim has worked for Lighting Systems three times over his 41 year career in the lighting industry. He has also worked for manufacturer reps and electrical distributors. At Lighting Systems he has held positions in customer service, quotations and inside sales. He is now our Projects Quotations Manager. So basically, Peter is your "man on the inside."
Peter is an avid classic car enthusiast. As a member of the Freewheelers Car Club he drives this beauty around the state as often as possible. He also enjoys photography, travel and cooking. In his down time, Peter tends to his roses, rhubarb and lemon tree.
