The F+P 550 represents an innovative and future-oriented trend in lighting, floating freely as a luminous disk emitting downward light. Its simple and light design harmoniously unites the fixture’s two halves into one stunning and weightless unit. Functionality and lasting performance were designed into the F+P 550 as it can be easily upgraded. As LED technology improves, the clusters can be removed and exchanged for improved clusters.
The fixture emits 100% glare-free light directed primarily downwards. A light guide directs a portion of the light onto the glass, which becomes softly illuminated. The edge of the glass creates a decorative light effect.
The F+P 550 comes in an aluminum color textured, wet painted finish. The shade is made of die cast aluminum while the reflector is made from spun aluminum. The diffuser is matte, white opal glass. A cluster of 30 1.1W white LEDs is the light source for this unique pendant.
