Step lighting is a great solution here:

  • Aesthetics: it reduces the amount of downlighting for a ‘quiet’ ceiling.
  • Maintenance: fixtures are in locations where the maintenance staff can easily reach them.
  • Efficiency: bringing the light source closer to the task plane reduces the wattage needed.

ELP is synonymous with high performance asymmetric wash lights.  Furthermore, their ‘Hole in the Wall’ series is made of paintable gypsum, and becomes one with the wall or ceiling surface when not in use.
